Welcome to this issue of the Noticing Newbies newsletter. Join me as I take you into some nooks and crannies of Writing.Com that you may not have found time to check out yet.
Don't forget to toss me a note about what you liked or didn't like in my column, or about a topic you'd like to see discussed. This newsletter is about and for you. And for you seasoned members, I hope you'll find something you can take from my ramblings.

A little over a year and a half ago, I discussed some of the UN-official newsletters that have been written and maintained over the 25 years of WDC's existence. They are listed in "A Newsletter About Newsletters" .
Today, let's talk about the 13 Official WDC newsletters, which are penned weekly by a number of the Moderators and Senior Moderators. They are Action/Adventure, Comedy, Contests & Activities, Drama, Fantasy, For Authors, Horror/Scary, Mystery, Noticing Newbies, Poetry, Romance/Love, Short Stories, and Spiritual.
Some newsletters have full-time editors that write an issue every four weeks, while other newsletters offer the wit and wisdom of a wider cross section of our Moderator corps. No matter whether full- or part-time editor, each week, a reader is treated to the collective wisdom of more than 250 years of WDC membership and achieved writing experience.
Members may subscribe to one or all 13 newsletters. While the latter, of course, makes for a lot of reading, you may find some little nugget of interest for your muse.
You can subscribe to the official newsletters by: My Account (Navigation Menu) --> Account Settings --> Additional Account Settings --> Manage Newsletter Subscriptions Check the box of the newsletter(s) you desire and Submit Change. Reset clears your current subscriptions. You may also sign up for and unsubscribe from newsletters by following instructions at the bottom of each newsletter.
If you're not sure which newsletter is best for you, check out the site NL Archives and read some of the current or last older issues. Find the current and previous week's issues by: Writing Resources (Navigation Menu) --> Newsletters. Links to older issues may be found on this page as well.
Newsletters are a service offered via the Moderator corps by Writing.Com dating back to the very early days when the site was known as Stories.Com. For example, the first Authors newsletter was published on 5 Jun 2001. While the actual writing advice offered in these older issues may still be valid, you might find that some of the actual features of the site have been deleted or changed.
Members will note an area at the bottom of every newsletter where they can offer feedback to the editor, ask questions about the newsletter's content, and even offer an item for publication in the next issue. As editors, we love getting feedback.
Newsletters are a free and dynamic feature offered to all members of Writing.Com.

From TheBusmanPoet  : It's extremely rare when I ask for help. I have to be really at my wits end for me to ask. Yes, I am a stubborn ole bastard. 
I understand completely. I operate the same way.

But not everyone. There are folks that really can help.
