I saw, Jesus saw

Jesus see differently from what we do.

When I saw a tramp
Jesus saw a travelling man;
When I saw a failure
Jesus saw a trier;
When I saw a fallen woman
Jesus saw a mother's daughter;
When I saw an outcast
Jesus saw an entrant into the Kingdom of Heaven;
When I saw a man in disgrace
Jesus saw a man with a testimony to the power of God;
When I saw a prisoner
Jesus saw a man set free;
When I saw a complainer
Jesus saw a proclaimer;
When I saw a dead man
Jesus saw a new creation.

Lord, forgive me for not seeing people the way you do. Forgive me when I make hasty judgments. Help me to see through kind eyes how people could be if their lives were touched by you. Help me to offer the hand of friendship. Help me to introduce them to you.
