My novels and shorter works reflect my interest in Byzantium, bike racing and Eastern Europe and its people, places, languages and cultures, among other far-flung subjects. I am a freelance writer and musician, and live on the English coast. My latest novel is The Fortune Teller’s Factotum (Hear Our Voice LLC, 2023), which looks at friendship, dysfunctional families in small-town Pennsylvania, arms dealers and serial killers – it’s mostly a comedy.
