I need a surrogate sister. Today I've been lonely and bored and thought that the only thing I really wanted to do was go shopping with my mom (I don't actually have a sister). Well, my mom lives about 8,000 miles away, so needless to say that's not really possible. No family. No friends (no available friends!). So fellow WDC peoples, if you live in the UK, particularly in the North, you need to email me so we can go for coffee or tea or a pint!

Well Sherri, I live in the UK, Universal Klingon. You could stop by and share our favorite Star Trek episodes and try to speak Klingon together. *Rolleyes*

Debate question of the day... Is befriending an ex boyfriend/girlfriend that you have no romantic interest in whatsoever, on Facebook, taboo?

I don't think it's taboo. I think if neither you or the ex have any lingering feelings and your current love interest doesn't mind then it's fine.

If it is strictly friendship, I don't think it is an issue. Just be straight up and honest with the ex and the current.
