          Today is a very indecisive day. There are many things I want to do here on WDC, but my hands aren't cooperating. I read a few entries from SM's Letters to his kids. I know that God gives me only what I can handle, but I wish my son was as well behaved as others'. All I can say is God must have something very special for me.

         This is my first day back since suffering from a small vessel stroke. I'm home recovering. Glad to be back.

         I just read some very sad news on FB. Davy Jones, lead singer of the Monkees, has died at the age of 66 He had a heart attack.

         My son,Santa Dog , is being bullied again. This time, it's the son of the Scout leader. He's calling him "gay". ACE shot off an email to the kid's father. I called the teacher. The incident occurred on school grounds. If I get my hands on this kid, he'll be sorry.

         We now have a white blanket of snow. I blame it on Shadow, our c.spaniel. She wanted to make paw prints.My cough, and cold is still lingering. Apparently, it can't read signs. Mine says:NO COLDS, COUGHS, OR STUFFINESS ALLOWED>

         The cold is still hanging on. It refuses to vacate my body. I need a clear head to write clear pieces. I want to write in my blog, do lots of reviewing, and clean out my mailbox. I want toi make 2012 the year of the writer.

         Ten days have already passed in 2012 and I've done nothing regarding reading and writing. I'm sick with a cold. I would love to write the "Dear Me" letter, but it would be full of empty promises. I haven't finished my son's letter from last year{'09} and also have to write this year's I feel overwhelmed. I picture myself being behind a desk in an office and having assignments shoved in my face. Not a good way to begin a new year.

         I need people to say prayers. Many Sears stores will be closing. As a result, ACE may lose his job. We're hoping that doesn't happen. Initial list doesn't have our local store on it, but there are more stores to be closing

How old is he? My boys are grown now with grown sons. Maybe you could offer him some age appropriate chores to earn some of the cost of what he wants. People value something more if it cost them something. It is human nature mot to value something that you got for nothing. Look at cockroaches for instance. We get them for nothing and just want to kill them but if we had to go out and BUY roaches that would ne a different story. Bad example but you get the point.
