No Restrictions | I discovered the beauty of having a hard to pronounce name in the U.S. Army. SCHNASE is my name- pronounced Shnay-Zee. We all hated to be assigned some horrid nasty detail such as K.P., or cleaning out an old coal burning stove in the barracks. One blistering day we were all called out into formation. Our sergeant announced he needed two strong men to dig a hole for a latrine. Looking at his list he loudly calls out, "WILSON"...a few moments pass and I hear Schh, Schish, shhz- "SMITH, you get over there and dig that hole. |
