Psalm 23

Psalm 23 as I see it

The Lord is my everything
what more could I ever want.
He promises rest for He is in control.
His presence brings the calm stillness of night
and the promise of healing.

Even when I lack understanding
I’m trusting in His ways,
for His name is powerful.

No matter what trial I face
He remains with me still,
so what do I have to fear?

His faithfulness never fails.
The loving arms He extends
brings such peace and comfort.

No matter what I’m up against
He will pull me through as
my head is covered in His protection.

He gives to me more than I could imagine,
His blessings are overflowing
forever I am His child.
