Shattered
The reflection of an empty mirror

Shattered

Silver slivers cover the floor.
Painful,
    Sharp,
Tinged maroon and red
         With my blood
Draining from my pumping heart.

Wet, crystal tears fall.
Salty,
    Sour,
Making slalom trails
         Down my Face
Starting from my pale, blue eyes.

The mirror that once
         Reflected me
Stands now a shell
         Forever empty
Crooked…jagged shard
         In my hand
Fighting… fighting hard
         Let it end.
Darkness… darkness falls
         Surrounding me
Silence… silence calls
         Wasted destiny
