RUNAWAY

Claustrophobic,
hemmed in,
cornered,
unable to breathe.

Discontent built to
argument,
explosion,
irreversible disagreement,
exile.

Stormy exits were her specialty.

With exits clearly accessible,
including fire escape…

She was the arsonist and
her bridges were burning
with unquenchable fire ---
a personal, self-structured hell...

Her place of torment,
ruinous farewell.
