Salsa de Tejas

1 lg. can of stewed tomatoes (yes, canned!)
1/2 white onion
3 fresh jalepeno peppers (not hot - similar to bell peppers)
1-2 fresh serrano peppers (these are hot!)
4-6 leaves of fresh cilantro (no stems)
Sprinkle of cumino
Pinch of salt
Dash of garlic powder

Blend in blender. Best when chilled. Best served with white corn chips.

Cilantro-I am not a big fan of it but you can add more for a stronger taste.

Serrano Peppers-I usually make my salsa with about 3 of these but my family are wimps so I tend to tone it down a bit by only using 1 or 2.
