The world is getting smaller all the time.

I am the sun that circles the world
giving the heat and making the life
of the fish in the waters and birds in the air
and the people who live on the land.

I am the moon that shines all the time
reflecting the light of the sun in dark places
making mystery and romance and pulses of wonder
in the minds of the life that the sun has created.

I am the life that the sun has created
and the moon makes me wonder at the magic and mystery
as fish, birds and people reach out from their birthplace
to venture afar and experience living.
