Time seems to run together lately

"You're so cold, anymore," Ms. Daise accused.

The Old Man scowled at her. "If that's true, it's only because of the way the three of you treat me," he retorted frostily.

Autumn threw her hands up. "Leave it alone, you two!" I swear, Summer Daise

"He's set in his ways, Summer," Soapy offered.

Autumn looked at him with an arched eyebrow. "You'll defend anybody and everybody, Conner Spring. That's what I love about you."

Conner "Irish" Spring smiled at his cousin. "Right back at ya, cuz. But seriously, we need to work this out. Mr. Winter, I have to admit, at the risk of offending, you have lately been encroaching on my yard. "See?!" Summer Daise interjected.
