Scorned
when you wear your heart on your sleeve, it's hard not to love.

My heart receives nothing but scorn
Without love, it's lost and forlorn
But you won't treat it kindly
Though it loves you so blindly
Because of you, it is now torn

You hurt me though I love you so
We both know I can't let you go
What I feel is what you lack
I wish that you would love me back
You're making my heart feel so low

My tender tears follow their trails
Your love is the cure to my ails
I know what I want is wrong
I guess I knew it all along
With emotion missing, love fails

I love you with all of my heart
We both knew the truth from the start
If you don't love me I'll leave
No more heart on my sleeve
The best thing to do is now part
Still loving you with all of my heart
