Tragedy has struck. How well do you know those in your life?
What a Tangled Web We Weave...

Preface:
This is a story of possible murder or suicide, along with a rape case tangled into this ever changing tangled web of lies and deception. Let's first meet our cast of characters. The first people you'll come to know are my mom(Phyllis aka Toni)who just retired from Lowe's FoI have an aunt and uncle that live up in Washington State. Uncle Phillip is my Mom's twin brother; he's a retired Master Chief from the Navy. He's also been married to my Aunt Ruth for about 42 years. They have 2 daughters, Teri and Phyllis. Teri is married to a retired Navy man also named Mark and together they have a daughter and son named Tiffany and (little) Phillip. Tiffany(23) had been married almost 2 years to a Navy fellow named Matt(24); they had a brand new baby not quite 1 yet, Rebecca. Now Phyllis is on her 2nd marriage to a man named oddly enough- Matt. Phyllis used to have two girls named Brandy and Sara from her 1st marriage. The reason I said "used to have 2" is because Phyllis and her 1st husband gave Brandy up for adoption. They said that she was "evil" and that she had behavioral problems that they supposedly just weren't strong enough to deal with.

June 9th, 2005...My Mom has become ill as of late having several health problems springing up all at once. I first learned that her heart had become enlarged rather significantly and the doctors had began to treat her for congestive heart failure. When Mom got sick I called Aunt Ruth to ask her to pray with me for Mom; well the more we talked the more Mom's mortality actually set in. Aunt Ruth said she was going to let Uncle Phil know what was what and maybe try to come out here to North Carolina. We found out on the 7th that they would be flying in Friday morning around 11:30 and then renting a car at the airport thus driving to Grandma's.

June the 7th was the day we learned of this; they also took blood that afternoon. My Mom received a phone call from the lab at 6a.m. June 8 telling her she needed to go to the doctor immediately, or as soon as possible as her blood level was down to a 4 point 3. Your blood should be at least 7 or 8 points; nobody could really understand how she was still walking around. We went to the hospital on the 8th so she could receive a blood transfusion until...nobody had her blood type,
A-. Thank God for the Red Cross, they sent out a call for anyone with A- blood that evening. We had to go back to the hospital the following day in order to get the ball rolling. We ended up staying there from 4p.m. on the 8th until 7a.m. on that Friday morning just to receive 4 units of blood.
