Memories are made of this
PROMPT March 22nd

Write about your earliest memory. Try to describe it in as much detail as possible.
My very first memory was crying in my cot and my big brother, who was six years older than me, came and picked me up and let me sleep in his bed. I must have been about eighteen months.
After that my most clear memory was starting school at aged four and 2 months. I remember the day, being left all day for the first time without my Mum!
I’m an also remember sitting on a sideboard with Mum because she’d seen a mouse. She was up there with me. I don’t know how long we sat there but as she never did get over her fear of mice, we were probably there for hours.🤣
I know we are asked about one memory but mine are just snippets. No details. There was one other that happened when I was about three. I was helping Dad in the garden, I picked up a garden fork and stabbed myself through the foot with it. We had no car and I remember Dad taking me to the doctors on his push bike. I was sitting on the crossbar.
