vespers, 54 degrees. 40 in Missoula, MT.

Tomorrow begins the raid of Dream's portfolio. I'll do the best I can, but she writes mostly articles and I write and review poetry. We'll see.

afternoon, 63 degrees. 73 in Fort Smith, AR.

Looking out at blue sky and feeling faint. Sometimes, I'm not well at all. Once again, not much accomplished. Did find some stamps and that's good news.

On my second reading of "Winter Morning Walks: one hundred postcards to Jim Harrison" by Ted Kooser. I was raised on haiku so I'm enjoying their groundedness in nature.

Sometimes, I write series of poems. Wrote on ginkgo leaves last fall, wrote 17 to the prompt 'Detroit'. Would be thrilled to write 100 and put them on postcards and send them to a friend.

Tooth broke, again. Lower tooth. Had already lost half, now another quarter. Chomping down on an Altoids did it this time!

Yesterday I refered to Hub as a "T rex on Geritol". Wonder if he reads my blog.

Nice day here and in Fort Smith. My cousin Allen Morgan read and responded to my poem about Jason's death. Wish more would. It's getting mixed responses, some don't like it at all, others really do. Why? I don't know.

SENSED YESTERDAY:

Blocked kick, 2 safeties, touchdowns; the stands striped red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, red; grey skies, grey Nebraska fans; noisy crowd, finally; goal posts floating in the lake.
