Early Bird or Night Owl
Today's blog...

Blog City – Day 74 – May 15

What type of person are you: a night owl or early bird?

I do not see myself as an either or kind of person on this topic. I love the mornings and managed to accomplish most of my activities during the morning but I find I do not get up at a dastardly time to do it - generally around 6:30 or 7 am. I find before 10 am I can get more done the rest of the day combined.

But I also like evenings particularly when I do not want the evening to end. I want to enjoy all it has to offer but I often find I get snacking because I really am tired.

I often nap some time between 1 and 3 if I can, but I often can't - Sunday I usually do. Some mornings if I do not get a supply call and it is rainy and miserable I will nap after I get some writing done. That may just happen today, but who knows...

All things considered, I would say I am an early bird who likes to play at being a night owl, on occasion. If I follow my natural rhythms I am definitely an early bird; trying to be anything else and I lose precious sleep and I snack on things I know I have no business eating.

How early does an early bird need to be up to be an official early bird? I find if I sleep past 10 am, my day is wasted.
