“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.”

What's the best piece of Health advice you have ever received? Did you follow it? Why or Why not?

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away,
An onion a day keeps everyone away."

Author Unknown

What is t he best health advice I ever received? This week from an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist - put a little Vaseline up my right nostril to prevent it from drying out and therefore bleeding. A few months ago from the nurse practitioner in my kidney specialist office - take 1000 milligrams of Vitamin D each day. From my provider - get more exercise.

Do I follow it? I am attempting to follow the advice. As Mr. Schulz advised, I eat chocolate at least once a week. As author unknown advised, I eat an apple or apple sauce at least once a week and I put onions on my sandwiches. As the nurse practitioner advised I take a Vitamin D tablet every day, usually with my breakfast or lunch. As my provider advised I have increased my exercise routine by walking more and intend to increase it more in the coming year. I have just began taking the Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist advice.

Modern Manners says it is rude to ask a hostess who else is invited to a party? What do you think?

Yes, under normal conditions it is rude to ask a hostess who else is invited. However, like all advice it should be taken with a grain of salt because may be rare occasions when it is all right to ask. I would never ask for the simple reason that it does not matter who else is invited to the party.
