I've started an appendix (I no longer have one personally) to keep track of my Space Cadet journals for Space Blog. It's a work constantly under construction. Mind the mess.
I needed to start a folder for contests as there are so many deadlines and details to remember.

For
"Imagine" [E] by Ariel Mini-reveiw: From 2004 by a member who isn't 'active'. It's nice enough, poetic enough. Nice use of words and images. Never edited. I give it a 4.4. I really like these four lines: Imagine watching a fairy elf Until you both begin to sing. Imagine a sky painted in purple, A wind that whispers your name. Prompt: Write about imagine. I always daydreamed as a child. Still do. My poetry tends to reflect that, some of my flash fictions too. Like this poem that just got Honorable Mention in the Second Time Around contest:
Notice the pretty pink ribbon it just got? So appropriate. But no, I haven't had breast cancer but if I had something that 'scarred' me how would I hope to respond? I needed to dig down into my imagination to write this and yet keep it real. I've had friends who've had various cancers. As a creative writer I'm allowed to do that. 3438 |
