I've started an appendix (I no longer have one personally) to keep track of my Space Cadet journals for Space Blog. It's a work constantly under construction. Mind the mess.
I needed to start a folder for contests as there are so many deadlines and details to remember.

| Stardate 4157 54: We leave our cold dreams and nightmares behind. We carry one enigma with us. For this short jaunt we again are a mixed crew. Some have decided to take a short nap but the Xenos among us have gathered. Not all intrigue was left behind. Kat is perplexed. She says, "I cannot see; I'm blind." Her eyesight's fine. Her vision however is blurred. Cook has been trying various herbs and soups. 90210 has been making inquiries. I keep all four ears scanning like antennae. Gomo the Kla comes in with Quip. I take one look and ask Cook to bring something to liven Quip up; he isn't talking. Phylym the Psych sits at one end of the table. He asks our guest, "What are you." "I'm me," Jindal replies. "True, and yet that's a lie," Gomo murmurs. "Here's some salad, 90210. Quip, drink this down fast; it's vile." Cook plops in a seat."I'd bring you something Jindal if I knew what you were. As it is you'll just have to put in an order and I'll do my best." "We don't like to reveal anything other than our names." "Well, you're no threat but unless you want to play games." Kat pauses. "And we kats know how to play games." "Better to just tell us and be done with it." It seems Quip has revived. "We don't bite, except for Kat." Kat smacks him with her tail. "Ouch." "You deserve worse." She turns to Jindal. "Quip is right. We don't bite but we depend upon knowledge and trust to survive." Kat almost purrs and softly adds, "What are you?" "He's a shapeshifter." 90210 was tired of playing games. Gomo gave a toothy smile as he looked through Jindal. "That's obvious, but what kind?" "I'm a Mo!a!e." "Oh." The room went silent. "I assured the captain that I'd stay in this form until my voyage with you has ended. "Why have you joined us?" I ask. "When one falls a great distance it takes time to reassemble oneself. I was able to slow down my metabolism on the Land of Ice to give me time to heal. Now I must return to my people." "And if they don't want you back?" Quip was nothing if not perceptive. "Then I may be forced to travel the stars". We look around at each other. In dismissal, Phylym just nods his head. Prompt from:
