An attempt at Haiku's each day beginning 2013 |
This is a well-intentioned beginning to what I hope will be a haiku a day, or thereabouts. |
fuzzy skies lurking gazebo moves in the wind something’s in the air |
cookie cutter day nothing to writer home about unremarkable |
Blue skies covered up Temperatures are plummeting The earth has a cold |
angry skies boiling becoming the blush of night before blackness falls |
3-D mountains jut white clouds softly caressing lovers of rain clouds |
grey squirrel scrambles under the oak foraging hoping for acorns |
Premature darkness falls leaden weight on emotions waiting for springtime |
young buck grazes by oblivious to our gaze and the camera sound |
bobcat sits alone watching sunset colors melt waiting for movement |
Shafts of sunlight pour Lighting up the valley floor Marking the morning |
cloud layers recline it must be raining somewhere laying down a fire |
Animals thirsty Drinking from the swimming pool Hunger pains subside |
Waving leaves of gold Saying goodbye to autumn And hello winter |
Broken skies reveal A slash of blue dividing Tomorrow's first light |
white clouds stain gray skies a pot covered with a lid simmering daylight |
storms are everywhere depression rules the weather seeping into lives |
barely visible surprises on your birthday gaining two not one |
Ninety two years since your mother had her last child she would be so proud Wishing my father a Happy Birthday today!!! |
misty veil surrounds encapsulating my world blurring now from then |
eerily quiet nary a thing is stirring yet the clouds glide by |
