"January 10, 2020 Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs

Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: The January full moon is called the Full Wolf Moon. It occurs on January 10, and it will be the first of 13 full moons in 2020. There will be a penumbral lunar eclipse visible at some places on Earth. Have you every witnessed a Lunar eclipse, if so, write about it. Otherwise use the Full Wolf Moon to inspire your blog entry."

Yes. I observed the lunar eclipse a few years ago. I believe it was 2016. I was at the VA hospital in Clarksburg WV. I was an ambulatory patient so I was allowed to walk outside and see it. The staff had bought special glasses designed to make the eclipse visible without hurting one's eyes. It was a sight to behold. I was also in an eclipse in the 90's that momentarily left it completely dark at noon. That was a trip! I guess if one lived near the poles one would be accustomed to seeing darkness at noon but for me it was awesome!

Blog City image small "Prompt: "The greatest treasures are those invisible to the eyes but found by the heart." Judy Garland What are your thoughts about this quote?"

I agree with Garland 99% but I believe that the greatest treasure is actually found in heaven. The greatest treasure is Jesus Christ. I agree that it is with the heart that we find Christ. If one does not believe in one's heart that Jesus Christ rose from the dead then one cannot be a Christian. I believe it fully. I have seen way too much evidence in my life and history not to believe.
