I don't have time right now to write a story. Let's just say things would not go well for the characters if I did.

“One lives in the hope of becoming a memory.” ― Antonio Porchia

How do you feel about anniversaries? Do you celebrate them all or certain milestone? What do you feel is the value in recognizing them?"

It may just be a learned behavior but I never really made a big deal out of any holiday. Most holidays are pagan in origin and I usually don't make a big deal out of them. Sure I may adopt a spooky name at Halloween or say "Merry Christmas" during the holidays but I usually don't go all out to celebrate them. As to anniversaries and birthdays I usually take much the same tact. I see them as just a sign that I'm getting old and I'm not ready for that. So I don't want anybody else to feel old. My Lord tells me to treat others as I would want to be treated and I do my best to carry that out. I don't want to feel old so I try not to make anybody else feel old or remind them that they are now a year older. Birthdays are for children. Anniversaries are for the young. I will celebrate account anniversaries on here though. I do a lot of anniversary reviews each month. So maybe I'm a bit of a hypocrite in that respect.

Are heroes cowards inside? What do you think?"

I live around veterans every day and I assure you there isn't a coward among them. Cowards face the enemy and run. These guys don't. They face the enemy, get scared, and do it anyway. Bravery is not lack of fear. It's being scared and doing it anyway!

I know I am definitely a work in progress. Jesus who started a work in me is faithful to see it through. I have always believed that and I can see striking changes in myself since was a young Christian and now. I have grown up quite a bit and still have a ways to go. One day I will see Jesus face to face. For now I know He lives within me.

Blog City image small "Prompt: Use these words to inspire your blog entry: major, minor, dynamic, static, round, flat, anxiety, pencil, star."

I am having a bit of anxiety right now because I am enrolled in two colleges at the same time. One is a free college from, which I am obtaining a bachelor's degree in Bible. The other is Marshall University. Christian Leaders Institute is currently evaluating my transcript to determine if I have met all their requirements. I tranferred in a transcript with 73 credits on it, many of which they want me to take. I'm waiting on the official evaluation and I'm sweating bullets. My pencil is ready to write them off soon but I have a lot invested. I just cannot be in two schools at the same time. I would be a star at neither that way. I flat want to finish if CLI would hurry up and evaluate my transcript. I hate waiting! My major is Bible but I feel like I have a minor in patience now! It's a dynamic school because it is free! As a US citizen they asked me to pay $1,000.00 of my own tuition but they covered the rest. Developing countries do no even pay that! The static price is $0.00! You can earn a Bible degree free of charge!

Blog City image small Prompt: "National Make a Difference Day----what can you do to make a difference?

Did you know President Jimmy Carter helps build a house for the under-privileged.}

I try to make a difference every day but don't know that I do. I plant the seeds and depend on Jesus Christ to either make it grow or not. I am a volunteer chaplain at the West Virginia Veteran's Home where I reside. I an also a Sunday school teacher and keep my blog, which generally has some content. Aside from that I don't do much.

Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "Use these words to discuss your favorite political candidate----- talk, season, reform, earth, wax and ribbon"

I don't know a whole bunch about my favorite political candidate. I live in West Virginia and our senator is Joe Manchin. Manchin kisses butt with both parties even though he is a democrat but I simply don't trust him. I voted early on campus since I am in class all day November 6. I voted for Patrick Morrissey. Morrissey is supposed to have a foot in the door with opioid producers but I do not believe opioids are as bad in West Virginia as we are led to believe they are. I know for a fact that the top killers here are pharmaceuticals such as xanax. Heroin is bad but not as bad as they make it out to be. So I don't care that Morrissey makes millions from pharmaceutical companies. He can reform government in Washington. He talks good. It;s season for a change, The earth does not need Joe Manchin in power. Joe's wax is melted, It's time to cut the ribbon on new construction!

Blog City image small Give us your best sales pitch on why we should publish your book or blog. Every author that wants to be published has got to learn the art of pitching to an agent or editor.

Nice try! I was already publish seven times and know that being published does not equal success. You have to have a publicist going before you marketing you to the world. That costs thousands that publishers do not pay.

{image:1997652-25%} Prompt: "Every secret of a writer’s soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind, is written large in his works.” — Virginia Woolf

Do you agree or with Ms. Woolf? Are pieces of your life buried in your work? Have you ever wondered why she used his instead of her when she was trying to get women's writing, heck even women recognized for all they did?"

I know writers definitely put pieces of their lives into their writing. I know I do. It may only be a subtle hint but without my experiences to fall back on I would have no background to write. Jesus was my favorite writer even though He never wrote a single page in His life. He inspired many others to write the Holy Bible. He put the thoughts in their heads and motivated them to write. Therefore we say that the Bible is "God breathed." Jesus definitely put His experiences into His writing! The Bible is His story and remains the best selling piece of literature of all time.

Blog City image small "Prompt: Would you want to be a contestant on The Price Is Right? What prizes would you like to win if you were on the show?"

I don't know. I would probably like to win an all tuition paid scholarship to a renowned Bible college. I am one or two classes short of a bachelor's degree in Bible from a school in Michigan but it is not a world renowned school. I guess we're never satisfied are we? My degree is fine but one from a big school would seem a bit more impressive.

Blog City image small "Prompt: The new normal. You have something devastating happen to you and you have to get your life back to normal. Have you ever had a new normal?"

I'm 57 years old. Nobody lives this long and does not experience this. I can't think of a more specific example than the death of my wife. I'm still getting over it!

Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "In your experience, which is worse breaking a bone or getting a sprain? Share with us your story. This walking wounded is looking for someone to commiserate with. You know misery loves company."

Undoubtedly a sprain is worse. They hurt more and heal slower.

Helicopter hover overhead, overseeing every aspect of their child's life constantly.”
What do you think of such parenting practices? "

I believe my son would be in a better place if I had had the gonads to buck the system and use that kind of discipline with him. I was threatened by a social worker that if I ever did I would be sent to prison and I allowed my son to get by with way too much. He turned into a hoodlum and a criminal delinquent He is in lock up but starting to make wiser decisions now. He wants to join the USMC. They will accomplish what I did not.

Image #1997652 over display limit. -?- "Prompt: Fate,Time,Occasion,Chance, and Change? To these All things are subject but eternal love.
Percy Bysshe Shelley What do you have to say about this? Do you agree or disagree? Why?"

I disagree because I know that Jesus Christ controls my destiny. He leads me and as long as I am willing to follow He never steers me wrong. I may end up in places I'd rather not be because Jesus does not carry me around problems. He carries me through them to teach me reliance in Him and faith, So fate has nothing to do with it for a Christian.

I think imperfection is false because Jesus Christ was perfect just as God is perfect. Hawking use to be an atheist so he would say such stupid things. I guarantee you he believes in God now.Prompt: Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us. Samuel Smiles
