a daily journal
Yesterday, I got some unsettling news.

I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day.

I also found out that we lost a job contract.

The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money.

I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone.

I woke up ill today.

My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight.

There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England.

Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured.

Today, I went out and did some shopping.

Later, we went to McDonald's to pick up dinner.

No change in the weather today.

I'm glad I got all my shopping done yesterday.

We got a few more centimeters of snow last night.

We're having pasta for dinner tonight.

I got up and headed downtown to do some shopping.

It snowed a little bit overnight. Not a heck of a lot, but it is nippy outside.

Man! It was great just getting out of the house.

A week ago today, I was stuck in the house because of the amount of snow we had.

Yesterday, I went to church.

The minister had a fantastic sermon.

He mentioned that he once interviewed Martin King back in the 1960s'.

I took the opportunity to introduce myself because this man was a journalist.

He said he was a journalist since he was 15 years old.

After the service, he handed out copies of the story he did about Martin Luther King.

Naturally of course, I've took a copy.

Here's the deal.

My boyfriend phoned last night and told me he had pink eye.

I'm thinking "Great. I won't get to see him for seven days."

This morning, I got up and put on all stuff, (soccer jersey, hat, and scarf), to watch Chelsea take on Tottenham.

Minutes before the game, my boyfriend calls and tells me we're going out to lunch at the Pita Pit.

It was so great to get out.

I've been cooped up in the house all week.

My boyfriend said that his eye infection is clearing up.

I must say. I like American Thanksgiving.

I get to watch my favorite sport. Hockey.

There's two games on this afternoon.

I watched the Philadelphia/New York Rangers game earlier. Now I'm watching Detroit take on Washington.

I also had a headache earlier.

First of all, I want to wish my American readers a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This means I'll probably watching NFL football today since I don't work anymore.

No hockey tonight, except on my Nintendo Wii

Not much going on around here.

My sister is off today.

We're having pizza for dinner.

We're expecting rain on Saturday.

I looked outside this morning and noticed we got more snow overnight.

Just a few centimeters.

Stil, enough that I can't go anywhere with my scooter.

Still a bit of snow out there.

This is the first Monday without work.

I'm now working on the computer while listening to CFHI, a radio station in Toronto who is now playing Christmas music.

My boyfriend informed me last night.
