Instagram, YouTube? I dunno. I want to write some stories placed in Thailand... maybe a screen play... complete with music in Thai/Lao. I've even sang some to myself (melody/images rather than words). My voice left me long ago but that shouldn't stop me from singing.

I wish... I was looking forward to my high-school reunion... but covid. I no longer live close to where I grew up. None of them live here. I have to rely on new connections.

I didn't connect well as a child. Never quite felt at ease in my skin and I wasn't taught how to get along.

So I've spent a lifetime working on connections. Sometimes it worked! No need to mention the other times.

I continue stumbling on my journey.

Glad you went.

I can imagine it would be overwhelming for the senses. I live in quiet and will need to adjust next time I travel. I mostly live in silence and that's not in my forecast.

Yes, I remember jarts. We were careful. I didn't play marbles. I came to dislike Monopoly. Later I learned to dislike Risk.

I prefered card games. I played to win. Of course, I lost as well.

I'd be pissed and demanding to be paid for answering the phone! I worked 11 pm - 7 am. I did NOT works days. I did NOT work evenings. I slept 8-4 and told friends not to call me unless the house was burning down. I literally could not work if I didn't have enough sleep.

Some at that time thought we should have rotating shifts. The night crew adamantly said NO. My opinion? Rotation is an abuse and so are many schedules for police and hospitals. I've worked both. You want a doc or a cop who's worked 16 hours straight to look after you?

Happiness

Still finding my life is stuck on a New York buzz. I must say that city gets into your blood. It was a whirl wind of a weekend but, we made the most of each moment. I don't get out often so making memories in new places is exciting to me. I took some great pictures. Next week I am going to the Botanical Gardens in St Louis to meet with a childhood friend. So excited to share our stories of the past. Life, I've discovered is a conglomeration of intertwining paths that often meet in the middle. At birth each person begins to race around a chosen path, each person passes by, crosses over, or intercedes with original people on their path, but their future destination consumes them. Always there is a true passion to find to correct path of our making with some finding it and others not so much. It is near the end of our path's that we choose to remember the journey and all the connections made along the way. If we are bright enough, we will find that happiness was the one thing we all were searching for along the path.
