Carolina Morning

Wide awake in South Carolina,
gentle breezes kiss my face.
It’s so true, there’s nothing finer,
ferocious winters don’t know this place.

But surely this cannot be so,
astral travel’s a myth I deem,
and how could I unconscious go
from north to south - it was a dream.
