I have one story in my portfolio called 'Baited Trap' where the plot got so complicated that I realised that I had to explain it to the reader. If you're not careful; the plot turns into an unexpected mystery story, just figuring out the plot. I find I get bored very easily when reading. I have not noticed what it is about some writers who can present a boring load of rubbish and still keep your attention riveted on their story. One of the articles on this site says it is about keeping the reader enthralled as to what will happen next.
