Re: New to Novel Writing

Still in need of advice? I also am new to the writing scene. Well, honestly, i have been doing it a while, but it is still all new to me. What i have learnt is that it all happens - the magic - in rewrite. I tend to go back over a chapter at a time, but that's not for everyone. My best advise is to not worry about all that stuff; characters and chapters, just write, write and write. Feel those words flow. If something really bugs you; characters and such - write a note about it, stick it on the wall or desk, wherever you write, on the computer itself, and continue writing that story until the end. Only then should you go back to that note and fix what those problems are. Helps me, and i'm in the stage of rewrite now. Hope this helps.
