I am so very sorry about your loss. I mourn with you. Everyone shows their grief in different ways. I cried alone, away from everyone else when my father passed away. I believed I needed to be strong in front of the rest of the family. I know how you feel when it comes to tension between siblings. My older brother and I never got along even as children. He was the serious one where I was the constant dreamer. We barely spoke at our father's funeral but we were both there. I am certain your mother is very proud of you for being the diplomat in that situation.

A single day in Heaven is a thousand years on Earth. That said, in about two of your mother's hours, everyone will be having a family reunion. Our loved ones will not wait long and will not be lonely. I hope this thought comforts you in a way as it did me.
