Walk in the Woods

    by: Carnivore
"Let's go for a walk in the woods. Campus is so deep in the city that I don't think I've seen any wildlife in months," Leslie said, jumping up off the couch and stretching. Once again this revealed her lower belly and navel, causing my eyes to linger over the taut skin. Leslie's always been athletic, and the view only confirmed she's pretty toned and been taking good care of herself.

Leslie noticed my look and gave me a knowing smile. "I know what you're thinking, kiddo, and you're welcome to try," she told, just as she reached out and gave my ribs a quick squeeze. The sudden attack caught me off guard, and I let out an embarrassing yelp and squirmed out of her grasp. Leslie took on an overly dramatic fighting pose. "Come at me bro!"

"Ugh, you're still such a ham, Leslie," I said, trying to catch up to her quick pace. "But I'll get you back when you least expect it." She smirked at me and wiggled her eyebrows, obviously welcoming the challenge. Hmm, this walk in the woods might be more fun than I initially thought. Of course, I realized I also had to stay on my guard. She could always decide to pounce me for the heck of it.

We got our shoes on and headed out into the woods behind my house. There were a bunch of trails that snaked out into the trees, and to be honest I'd never gone down most of them. Or gone very far at least, since there never seemed like much point. But now with Leslie so determined to do something, I'm sure we'd run into something new. Leslie was leading the way, picking a path seemingly at random. I followed her as we walked single file down the narrow dirt path, letting her take rights and lefts as she saw fit. While I tried to keep a good sense of which forks we took and how to get back, I realized we were quickly getting ourselves lost. Not that it would be too hard to get back even if that happened. I could still figure out which way was back into town.

Neither of us said much as we hiked down the paths, which were getting increasingly knotted with roots as we ventured deeper into the forest. I could tell Leslie was enjoying the chance to get out into nature, occasionally stopping for a second to look at an interesting tree or flower. It felt nostalgic being with her, and despite the silence, I could tell we both felt comfortable around each other.

Walking behind her, I also couldn't help but notice when she pushed a branch out of the way and exposed a bare underarm just in front of me. Stretched out just in front of me like that, so inviting, I couldn't help but…

…get whapped with the branch as she let it go, catching me off guard and distracted. I quickly pushed the branch out of the way only to see her laughing at me. "Hey, eyes up front, tiger. Now where were you looking?" she asked me, and I could tell the whole thing was a deliberate set up. I couldn't help but chuckle, she totally got me. I'd have to be more careful if I was ever going to get her back.

Our path started inclining a bit, with Leslie pushing ahead and gaining a little distance from me. Unfortunately, she was in a bit better shape, and making her way up the incline easier than me. As I was catching up, I saw her stop at the top of the hill. I could tell something unusual had caught her interest. "Hey!" she yelled back at me, not even turning around. "C'mere and look at this!" What got her so excited, I wondered?
