Moving Up

You place the last of the boxes down with a sigh of relief. Its been about a year since you were last up here, just after dad died you put the rest of his things up here in his old workspace at Mom's request.

You wobbled over to the make-shift bed that had been set up here and flop down on it. You blink your eyes and stare at the slightly slanted roof until you notice a small gleam of something's reflection hitting the dark wood.

You sit up and follow the angle to a box of your dads old stuff and inside a shiny metal hoop, no bigger then a Frisbee, it was surprisingly light as well. You pull the hoop out from under some other stuff and a piece of paper falls to the floor behind the box.

Picking up and bringing the paper into the light it shows a 2 pictures:

1. Of human silhouette lying on their back with the hoop resting on their face

2. Of two human silhouettes pushing their foreheads together through the hoop
