This is pretty great work!! Great writing, and I wasn't expecting that awesome, ending either, ! Kind of like horror in a way, you say melodrama , too.
This is very cool, and you have much talent, I encourage you to write more stories, and write anything you want, because you will go places. This was written, extremely well, well-paced, great word-choice, and dealing with anger which we all have, so awesome, write on, !

This is extremely interesting notions, and I've had dreams that this stuff is true, that I was placed in worlds, where we still learn, and reincarnation dreams, etcetara. I do think you could make an interesting published book on your findings, and inner-insights, because no author or one out there, has a better mind that you or me. I suggest you turn out all lights, in darkness, or in quiet time, and keep writing these thoughts down, jot on paper, whenever you have them, Great for you!! you can think for yourself, a process, I am trying to do, honestly, and your piece here inspired me more than any one I read so far tonight, so glad you're out there on this forum, keep it up, and I will fan you, to see if you get more out of this, I would be your fan, and think you should start working on your book about this, i have done some stuff like this, need to get back into it,....! write on,! you have inside and your own free thinking and i agree, with you, please, write A LOT MORE ABOUT this, need to read your stuff.

This was truly incredible, amazing and inspiring to me. I truly needed to read it and hear it,!! Some of us, need other people as a "boost" , so we can find our own true happiness. I believe we are interdependent, and need others as well.
But, what you wrote is all true, and so beautifully well-written,!! I soaked in every word carefully, and will fan you, obviously, because you are so wise. I find that when I am alone, writing is fun for me, reading your blogs like this is great fun for me, like a child would have, I have TV on now, and I do make a practice of finding my inner child, and creating my own happiness, yet it is inspired by a guy romantic friend, thank gosh, we don't live together. That would be a night-mare, i love living alone, but visiting is fine, and he helps me, and people like you, writers on here, writers, like you, inspire me a great deal, this was so-o-o heart-felt. I loved it, and will remember it always, and re-read it, thank you so much. God bless you, much, amy matz.

Review of TELL ME, LORD..
Review by redbarron

This is good heart-wrenching writing, I encourage you to write on to heal, and even to get Depression Workbooks, and Depression and Anxiety workbooks, and I believe the Lord will answer your questions, for I have frustration, and they help, writing helps, you have talent, and could heal through writing, for I too find it so difficult to smile, and mourn over divorce of ex-husband 10 years ago still. Keep asking questions, and searching for answers, and read DBT books, (dialectical behavioral therapy), your God is close to the broken-hearted, like us, and I liked your poem, and we need to write, to heal.

I love the rain, and liked your poem, but if you'd want to, I wanted to inspire you to write more about what the rain Does teach you? The poem would be more interesting if you made it longer, and really wrote about it in depth, and listened to the rain, while you were writing it, I love the rain more than anything, and would like to see what it teaches you, and would like to see your poem longer, but do as you wish, because it is yours.

This is true delightful and honest. My guy friend loved me more like a mother, than my own. I know what it is like. I watch Joyce Meyer and adopted her, as one. And on the search more for other mothers out there, you are lucky, and great poem and writing.

I liked your writing here. I have bipolar too, and know the suffering you are talking about. It is good that it led you closer to God, as mine has too, and I think that writing as much as we can about it, helps healing a lot. Write, write, write, I am too, about a lot of stuff, and I know it was courageous of you too, check out DBT group therapy and books too, (dialectical behavioral therapy), and self-help books, if you want to know God's true compassion too, and you already do. Thanks, your writing helped me a lot, and gave me more courage to write about my issues. xo

Review of The same world
Review by redbarron
Rated: E | (5.0)
This is such a true poem, a review from night owl girl. I do understand this, a lot more than you know. This poem speaks the same language as me, even with my guy-friend, Michael, seriously. And it was a good day. Regardless, coming personally, is there a 'grey' area that you can go to, that you can see color, perhaps even in your own writings, which this is so honest and true. You have to believe me, that I feel the same exact way, even around my friend. He lives in a world of so much happiness. And I have family and issues and depression that bring me down, but just a little laugh here or there, is all I get to experience, with him, it lasts about 10 seconds after phone hangs up, and god-damn depression hits again. I know what it's like, but I have found you, and writing.com, and you have given me so much hope, and this site too, keep searching, yes, I like your poetry, but try to be as happy as possible, cause you deserve it, you're heart isn't bad, you have such a great heart writing this. amy m.

Review of Sanity

This is a fantastic super-fun read, and with my absurd sense of humor, I found myself with joy reading it, because the dialogue was great too. I loved the suspense and the ending. Was not expecting that ending at all. I suspect that is was Susan who was diagnosed, since she is the one who heard the doctor in the hall. This was very good writing, to the point, precise, and a lot of dialogue always keeps it entertaining, which this whole story was very entertaining and yes, I can see it being under 'horror', not sure, it's just that it does not affect me so horrifically because I have been through all of this stuff and understand it. It's awesome.!! Pls keep writing. You have major talent, that I believe can honestly be published. This as a short-story. Write on!!!! Thanks. I am happy after reading it...!!!

this is all-time great and beautiful writing. Love the comparison, and we all could learn from them. I agree, I Tend to contemplate too much, without much action. A saying is "Action conquers all fear", and remember that when you are writing, you are doing action. Good luck, awesome poem. Liked it very much....! Write on!!

please forgive if I offend, but incase this was 'real' thinking and 'feelings' on the author's part, I often wonder the same thing, but hold out, don't give up, because you are probably more special than you think, even if it just you who sees it. I don't know the character in this, but life is not a waste. I have only one friend, who I am a major burden on, and a rough family to deal with sometimes. Just recently been crying out for help, telling everyone I am suicidal, had to be taken to partial hospitals, etc, but if it's true,, tell people you need more help, reach out to them, on this site too, a lot of us feel this way. I know it's trite to say, but I wouldn't have been able to 'do this life' without TV evangelists, faith books, about God. He is there and cares. As do people, but hey, I get your point, and have thought of it before. If you're gone, and people finally notice, It is too late. and find stuff you like to do, muse yourself, and I can be a pen-pal, for support if you want. I can be a 'friend.' well, anyhow, hope you choose to not give up and keep writing, cause even though I don't know you, you reached and touched my heart. write on!! night-owl girl. 42 yrs. old, live alone, and know the 'agonies' of life too, love yourself, ...write on...!!

Review of Notes to Self....
Review by redbarron
Rated: E | (5.0)
Creatively talentedly beautiful prose. LOVE the positivity and true genuine nature. I can tell you are a good soul. One to be remembered and published. Keep up the hope and keep writing on!! I agree according to documenting most of my adult life through computer pages and some written out on notebook paper. The computer gives us more privacy perhaps I choose it because of that. Love the freedom of speech we have in this country. Yes, indeed. We still will always have our past, present and future. We will be sad, but that is the richness of life. Although your perfection in writing is intimidating, I had to say that I really appreciated this and you deserved the award big-time. Thank the gods or God you are out there and people like you on this site. Thanks to writing.com for finding prose like yours here. Yours truly, Amy Matz. Night-owl girl. xo write on!!

Review of Bitter-sour
Review by redbarron
Rated: E | (3.0)
I do have to say that your writing is impeccable and I cannot touch your amazing, talented style with a ten-foot fork. But, I do have to say that I did not like in my personal opinion the sour ending. Just that I think it is personal too. Yes, I had a happy child-hood too. Perhaps believe that my boyfriend needs to cling to his mommy at the age of 47 because she was a loving one. That is fine too. She made him the good person he is. Your writing is gorgeous, but the content a bit frustrating near end. You and everyone still does have a heart. That can be full even though it is aching with desires. We long for substance, value, and purpose. Perhaps do a few reviews and encourage the others and newbies, who are not as talented as you are yet. It might give you a new perspective. There is always support to give. I understand this, being vulnerable to disease and lemons, but our Higher Power works for us to help us get ahead, and people need to hear positive stuff. Both negative and positive. Which you have here. If you were to re-work and re-word this, or think about it, I'd say and suggest that perhaps reading the Spiritual Newsletters or any God stuff Who turns heart-ache into healing and prosperity, might help. There is a force out there who cares. You are not in darkness. You are not alone. Encourage others on this site. It would spur more of your creativity, and give you different feed-back about what others go through too. It is not all doom and gloom in adulthood. You can still be a child at heart, and have many wishes fulfilled. Care muchly so. Your reviewer, Amy Matz. Night owl girl. xoxo write on!!

Review of What is Normal?
Review by redbarron
Rated: E | (5.0)
This piece is truly incredible, and I can relate to darkness being a protection, bringing us back to normalcy or feeling normal as well. I am a true-night-owl, and love the night and darkness. I like how you say light and dark guiding you. I like how you say "I protect you and I fight for you" I like how you wrote "some people only visit, for they I come and go," and "others I am their constant companion." I like how you say "I am a gentle warrior" "fierce", and relentless' when I get aroused"
"people do you so much wrong." but the night will protect you, and pull you out, and day and night will guide you.
I like how you are showing who you are through your writings. It is a work in progress, and you're writing will just keep getting better and better. You have a lot of talent. I like how you mix some positive stuff with the hardship stuff. Bringing forth hope.
I like how you end it by saying "Normal is darkness and light, guiding you on your way."
Awesome piece!!!!!!! You knew you had it in you. Write on!!

I gave you a 5 star rating and 100 gift points for this amazingly, beautiful, cathartic poem. I read it slowly twice, and your word choice is excellent. Writing is cathartic, a means to get through things, and come out on the other end with a heart-wrenching, but strong voice. Why is he the key though? I imagine it's about a past romantic involvement that did not go well. (This review is from a night-owl girl as well). The character wants her freedom, but I know it can be hard giving up unhealthy romantic entanglements, (if that is what it is.) There are guys that do not use guilt as a means of control. Guys are out there, be careful in who you choose, only choose one that treats you the way you want to be. But, if this is personal, which is a deep-felt, longing cathartic, piece, I like how it ends. I suggest you keep writing these, but in thinking and trying to look forward to what you want for yourself. What can you look forward to? I often feel soulless too. But, we have our writing to look forward to.
A suggestion, you could write about good experiences you have too, or a blog on how your day went, etc......just trying to encourage more of your awesome writing, but in a more positive light, so you'll be surrounded by it too. Thanks. Melancholy Melanie.
