Delightful story. Your characterization of Jeremy was perfect. I immediately found myself in favor of, and championing, his adoption. Very well written. My natural curiousity wants to know how the meeting turned out. Great job. Jewel
Beautifully written love poem. I love how you show the wall of resistance coming down replaced with full surrender to love, despite painful past relationships. Great job. Jewel
This poem is powerfully written. Your descriptions allow the reader to enter your pain and sadness. I love how your dreamcatcher is a symbol of hope - giving you the ability to dream happy things that evade you when you are awake. Nicely done. Jewel
This is one of those poems that make you sigh happily when you are finished. There seems to be so much striving as we go through each season of our lives. Your poetry brings contentment and peace as the readers enjoys each line. Thank you for sharing a bit of yourself and giving us a peek into your heart. Beautifully written. Jewel
This is beautifully written and contains so many nuggets of wisdom. My favorite part is...
"Love the lessons that are the beautiful aches in life.
Love thy neighbor, love thy friends and thy wife.
Love the people who cause you bitter strife.
Love the path, whether narrow or thin,
Love the places it has placed you in.
Love the loss, in the future you'll win."
It's easy to love the lovable and to be happy when things are going great. It is much harder to appreciate the hard times and love people that are not loving toward us.
What a wonderful philosophical poem. Well written - It held me from the beginning to the end and guided me into deep contemplation. Thank you for this wonderful delight. Jewel
Utterly delightful and wonderfully fanciful. I find myself wanting to join them in their mystical wonderland. Beautifully expressed. You definitely have the soul of a great poet. Jewel
Unlike some movie sequels that do not stand up to the original - this poem was equally delightful. Thank you for my chuckle this morning - sets the tone of the day. Continued great writing. Jewel
Excellent - masterpiece - What a wonderful description of the stages of a young person's life and how they relate to family. Your writing is fluent and descriptive. Thank you for sharing your work with us. Jewel
This was a uniquely contemporary way to tell the Easter Story. Sometimes as Christians, we tend to read it in the Bible and year after year, it becomes almost sing-song. This brought the message alive. Well done.
Thank you for giving me a beautifully written description of a country that I have always wanted to visit. Your writing flowed so easily that the borrowed poetry stanza blended in as if it truly belonged to the masterpiece. This would be a marvelous marketing piece for enticing someone to your country. Thanks for sharing.
This is a very unique approach to the Easter Story. I loved how you conveyed the struggle that Jesus had in the Garden of Gethsemene. After all, part of Him was human. I loved the last stanza, where He surrendered His will to His Father, so mankind could be redeemed. Beautifully written. Jewel
I love poems that capture the essence of childhood and you have done a wonderful job at that. Beautifully written. I love being with children because it gives me an excuse to enter their delightful worlds. Keep writing and sharing.
There are no words to adequately review this poem. But, I'll try. Bravo, Wow, Awesome! You have moved me to tears. There is so much power demonstrated in each line - you have portrayed the sacrifice Christ made for us so brilliantly. Thank you for sharing this poem with us. You have truly pointed my heart to my Savior for this beginning to Easter Week. Thank you from the depths of my soul.
