Your story was so sad. I remember putting my Mittens to sleep. Mittens was 16. Mittens was a very special cat. She was my soul sister. She was the gentlest cat you would ever want to meet. My father who doesn't really like cats loved this cat. My parents paid for having her cremated for me so she is still with me like she would want. Thank you for posting and sharing your story. That was so sad. I am a retired paramedic. I know the heartbreak that these cases can cause. I have had a number of abuse cases over my 20 year history as a paramedic. It is the worst possible feeling. You do everything you can for them and at the same time you want to kill the abuser. You did great work on this story. Thank you for posting and sharing this story.
