I follow a Dutch newsletter of a yarn store lady, who always writes about her cats. Your poem reminds me of one of those newsletters, well described so you can picture the cat and his adventures. Well done.
Ginny comes latetly is a song - in our country sung by Albert West - A Dutch singer (more information about him here: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_West) but a very friendly man. I had the privilege to meet him once. Wish I could go to the beach though, just to see the sea. Well written!
You asked for honest feedback. I really like this poem as it shows a piece of your heart at the moment that you wrote it.
Thinks to correct:
In stanza 2: everyday should be separated: every day. Makes your sentence stronger this way.
In line 4: i'm ... Capitalize the I.
In stanza 3: Cuz is street language. If you would like it the correct way it should be 'Cause...
In the last line, capitalize the I.
B reminded me of my grandmother's cat, named Goofy. A red cat. He sat under my seat one day, and when I moved my feet, he bit me in my heel. Poor cat was beaten up the stairs by my grandma. Later he escaped for 2 weeks and lost quite some weight. At the age of 18 years the cat passed away in 1990.
