I know it's been awhile since I've read anything of yours but this...I think this poem is one of the best I've read so far. It really gives emotion to the reader, gives a painted picture of sadness and lonliness. I think I can safely assume that you've actually felt like this because alas poetry is what you feel in your heart, but I can telll you I've felt that with where I'm at. I still live with my parents and all so I don't feel like my house will ever be home though it's the only place I've ever known, but I can tell you that you will more than likely find home in a person more than a materialistic house. Sad, with an unexpected twist at the end. Kind of short but yet contains the feelings of a million thoughts. It is very well written and expressed. I really enjoyed it. Overall an easy 4.0-5.0 in my opinion. Good job, and keep up the good writing!

Your writings are so different from many of the others that I have read. No rhyming scheme and you use a more complicated vocabulary than most people do in their poems. It is interesting and I like it but i'm not quite sure what to exactly think of them yet...

Funny and light-hearted, the rhyming scheme wasn't to bad either. It was very inventive with an unexpected plot and some words you don't see in your everyday average poem. I enjoyed reading this as it really brightened up my mood. Thank you for sharing with us at WDC and keep up the good writing!

I fairly enjoyed your poem. It's topic is a bit different, but that just makesw it all the more special. Poems are words of the heart the mouth speaks not and therefor is all the more true. Your words are you and thats what makes you all the more unique, even though they world might view you as someone a little oblique. It is they who are oblique if they cannot see the individuality in others, as no one can be such as they. Have a nice day and keep up the good writing!

It's something that I can relate to, and something I'm sorry you have to know, But life does seem to be cluel that way, and I suppose to be truely happy isn't so...Remember though, in order to earn trust, you must also give trust. I like the wording and the emotion put into this piece of writing. Sad, confused, but it seems that you might be hinting at happiness yet to come in the last line. -But soon I'll be free.- All in all a very nice poem if I do say so myself.
