This is a very nice tribute to your Dad. I hope he has seen it! I am a Mother of 3 wonderful grown children. When I see stuff they wrote or I hear them sing and dance. I enjoyed reading your poem *Smile* It proves that us disabled people out there enjoy life just as much as everyone else does! Thank you very much for making me smile *Smile* Summer time is also my favorite time of the year! I love the ocean and The Beach *Smile* I am not deaf. But my children's father is. I admire the way that you can write your feelings down on paper and only you really know what they truly mean to YOU but ,your reader can read what you wrote and interpret it in a whole different way that he or she wants to or needs to at the time it is read. Wow what a beautifully written poem. I felt that mothers pain. It is sad but, so well written that you just wish by the end that the mother gets to meet her child somehow but, that is not what happens and you want to cry but I still hold out hope that maybe her child will come see her in the nursing home some day before it is to late.What can I say I like to think positive. I think this letter is very informative. I just started here at writing.com but I have learned quickly that we are all here to help one another . We all need to give a little of ourselves to get what we may need in return. All of this is right here at our finger tips. We just have to follow some very simple rules.
