This is something to think about.

It is well written. I love the way the lines just pulled me from line to line in the beginning. I was just waiting to see what you were going to say next. I found a couple of errors in spelling but I could not stop to make a note of them. I was being pulled by the story line.

This is so well written. It is clear and flows so well.

You so clearly write of what I would think a fireman must think to just survive under the stress he has from his chosen occupation.

The last two lines stress the finality of it all and how they must have to handle it sometimes.

This is wonderful.

I feel like you are talking of a dream of being a Native American. I love the mention of all of the out of doors.

Then, all of a sudden you are drawn back to reality. Bummers.

I ended reading this with a smile. How great God is and how He loves us.

How short this is and yet how much it covers. It is right to the point and wastes no words. It was so easy to read and flowed all the way through.

If we would just remember all of this and follow it everyday, how much easier life would be.

I could agree with every verse and read easily right though it. It flowed so beautifully.

Thank you for giving me a smile - a very tired smile, but a smile indeed.

I grinned as I read about the sunset on the sea shore. I have written about the sunsets my mother and I share at her condo on the beach each year. What a wonderful memory you brought up.

That was fun. I sense the rhythem. It flows so smoothly. You just have to allow it to be playful just like a two year old.

I had to stop and think for a second when you mentioned umbilical cord. Before I lost the rhythem, I realized what you were saying. Please do not change that. It was me.

Just my favorite kind of verse. It paints a wonderful picture of four scenes tied together. What I really like is that we get to paint our own outcome. With verses like this I can never be sure whether the two are now apart or right there together. Maybe, I am missing something but I vote for together. (:->)

Thank you. Christmas is not impressing everyone else. Christmas is the birth of Christ and the family. Old memories make the season. I love the old things and the memories they bring.

Thanks for bringing all this to light. And, I loved the progression in your story as attitudes changed. What a wonderful Christmas memory.
