That was really catchy. I enjoyed reading it. Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays. I used to be afraid of all the costumed characters when I was but a wee lad. I have since embraced the dark side and love all those things that send a shiver down your spine. Your fun tale of Halloween horror was refreshing. Great job!

This piece has great potential. However, there are excessive typos and incorrect use of lowercase letters. These are easily correctable. I like the subject matter. My grandfather was in WWII so it reminded me of him. Stay focused. You have ability, it just needs a little tweaking. Keep on writing and most of all have fun!
This piece is written well. It has a dark feel to it although the ultimate message is positive. I like how you utilized italics for the last two lines to really emphasize the power and nature of that last statement. Your words were rich and finely textured. You have done a great job. Keep it up.
Ahh the innocence of youth. You have described what has no doubt happened in countless other households. Children simply being children and not having a care in the world. I liked the comment of the child's ways not being touched by time. That rings so true. Adults have been shaped and made how they are by the hands of time. I sometimes wish I could recapture my youth. Your piece is nicely written, simple and effective. Good job. I will be checking out others by you sometime.
