DarkPrincess, this is another perfect poem. In my life, to be the female I have always been, I get a lot of "but you can go back, whenever you want, right?" Go back to what? I can never go back to something I have never been, and was only play acting a part.

Why won’t you live your own lives?
I don’t need help to destroy mine.
I never asked for interference
But I get it all the time.

When people can live their own lives, and quit telling others how to live, this is going to be a very wonderful world to live in.

DarkPrincess, my name is Barbara, and i am the SadPrincess, and I will tell you why. This poem tells of a person deep beyond the skin that people see. I too, am seen only for my skin, as this stupid boy in me, is only that; skin deep. I am M2F transsexual, and I have been female in my soul forever. it has taken 52 years of my 57, to finally start my transition, again, for the last time in my life. This is the part of the poem that I feel was written for me:

The eyes that search my skin
To see the hidden scars
Won't stare when I shall rest
In my place between the stars.

Because when I am out, people stare at me as tho they have seen something they shouldn't. The search my skin, and tell me who they think I should be. People should not judge books, or people by their covers. Because if they do, they aere going to miss some mighty decent reading, and some very decent people.
