Hello Jerry, l thought l'd read another poem, this one seems interesting and yet it has a feeling of emptiness and sadness wrapped up in past memories. Depressing thoughts, l kinda felt like crying as it sort of brought things to mind that l had thought l had forgotten, any way besides that l would have to say it's a well composed poem, you are skilled in creating scare poems and l tend to think words come easy because you carry a heavy load. Hi there, l just want to say that l really like your honest introduction of yourself, you sound think your very open minded and yet tend to mind your own business, a very old fashioned style about you. Your at the same time bubbly for life and yet l feel a sense of loneliness. Your novels are your world and there are times where your so absorbed in them that you don't notice whats around you, sadly you have missed things that know you regret. Your need to widen out and at times forget your novels and enjoy life and those you love because you will not have it for long, life is rather short. G'day Chuck, first of all I'd like to say sincerely thank you for letting me read your poem. I can see that you have abilities to be a fine writer in time, however at the moment your a little rough around the edges when in comes to poetry but you will improve. Your poem has a story line and has a great amount of emotion now thats good but you need to work on rhyming and also there are 5 lines in the first paragraph, there are 4 lines in the next 8 paragraphs and then 8 lines in the 8th paragraph, l would most likely have had all the paragraphs with the same amount of lines. You tried very hard in composing your poem and it shows up in the emotions that take control when it's being read, like it but it needs to be more poetic. l think you did a great job and will look forward to reviewing more of your work.
