A Loss

From the moment you walked in,
something caught my eye;
Maybe it was that certain light,
as it radiated from the sky.
Skin so fair,
soft as a dove;
The beauty that emits from you,
encapsulates love.
Eyes like the North Star,
guiding so bright,
As I look into them,
I gaze into the light.
A voice that speaks,
a thousand angels songs;
As you walk out the door,
that voice is gone.
