If we had a day to spend together, what all would we do?
Spending One Day With You

I have a dream of spending one day with you,
Do you wonder what all we'd find to do
We could be like children, go to the zoo
Play an old board game, Monopoly or Clue?

If just once I could hold you in my arms,
I'd shelter you, from any form of harm
Maybe we’d spend time down on the farm
Where I’d be smitten by your beauty and charm

The world and its troubles would go away,
Together we'd have, our special day
Could we just be kids, and in the park play?
Have dinner in town, at an outdoor cafe

For a day with you is a moment out of time
I'd cherish each second, and know peace so sublime
Our hearts would beat as one, together they’d chime
We’d cling to each other, our passions would climb

Throughout the day, I’d kiss your sweet lips,
Then taste your sweetness, and swoon in bliss
Lose my balance, and fall in an abyss
At the end of it all, I’d reminisce

Of a wonderful day, where you filled my heart
Something you do every day we’re apart
Another day will come, our love we’ll restart
But at the end of this day, we’ll not part
