A brief devotional poem of thanksgiving
Face down I fall
In thankful worship,
Acknowledging what cannot be,
But is.

Why would I, an utter fool,
Make a promise so absurd?
Jesus gave his life for mine!
How could I not respond?

How could such intentions rise
In the heart of one like me?
Jesus gave his life for mine!
How could I not respond?

What madness drove this one
To offer service I could not give?
Jesus gave his life for mine!
How could I not respond?

Promises -Never fully kept,
Intentions - Never fully realized,
Service - Never fully rendered,
Deemed in Him - Complete!
