| my desk at work is being moved soon. Or, i should say i am moving to a new desk. which, i would normally be bothered by, but, i believe i will be next to a window, so, hooray! I have one day to finish this fantasy story... i think i will succeed. It's almost finished, but, i still have to make it not crap. |
| stayed up way too late last night arguing about abortion and pornography and religion. yeah. sounds fun right? i think it's been too long since i've talked with someone who has different opinions to me. I was mostly too surprised and confused, i think, to say anything convincing. Mostly i was just trying to understand what the heck was going on in their head. oh well. it was entertaining at least. |
| just watched surrogates... what a frustratingly stupid movie. I mean, the concept was neat, and it was well made and acted, and had decent action, but gosh, what a stupid 'message' -a new technology that has lowered the crime rate in the entire country to virtually zero, and has made everyone happy and content and free - but... one man doesn't like it and so destroys it for the entire world... and i'm supposed to cheer him on? i got the impression that this movie was made by and for amish people or maybe the majority of americans are technophobes... /rant |
| i went for a walk earlier, and there were dandelions and other flowers all over, but not one single bee. I miss bees :( a new life goal of mine is to be sprayed with pheromones and covered with bees. | I think i slept too much today, cause my brain has been hurting all day :/ I wrote a couple hundred words to this fantasy type story that i'm working on, slow going, but, it something went back to my old home town bar and saw some friends, it was nice, sang some karaoke, but, my head hurts too much, so, now im back. maybe i can get some more words in tonight! |
| well, it's my birthday in about an hour. yay, my last birthday in my 20's. I decided to go to Shorty's in seattle, it's a bar full of pinball machines, woo! the ancestors of videogames, haha. its... thursday, so, not many people will come, but! i like smaller crowds anyway  I got a merit badge for my bday! thanks jannie :) something is wrong with my eye... i think i have an ingrown lash.. if that is possible. it is swollen and uncomfortable. i wonder if i will have a puffy eye tomorrow. I could always wear an eye patch. |
| well, i stayed up way too late last night, I guess that makes up for the extra sleep i got on monday, heh. I've got a sort of outline for a story involving fantasy on a ship at sea. fun! will be writing that soon. eating is such a pain. I wish there was a pill i could take that would just satisfy me with all the nutrients i need for the day. our whole insides need a serious redesign, so complicated and messy and uncomfortable. i may have to go on a long drive later tonight, /sigh. oh well. if i had a working stereo in the car it wouldn't be so bad. then i'd be playin this real loud http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEPB7uzKuh4 |
| holy crap, went to sleep at 930 last night. didn't do anything useful. i must be getting old. oranges are delicious for breakfast. well, oranges are always delicious. it's my birthday soon. I better think of something to do. I went to the library yesterday for the first time in years. I dont have a card, so i just sat and read for a while. Hopefully the book is still there when i return, it was pretty good. I think i had an idea for the throwdown during a dream... hopefully I can remember what it was... |
| I had a dream about zombies last night. I was in some large warehouse, like a home depo, with high storage shelves like that, and i was with two or three other people. they had blocked off all the walls to keep the zombies out, but somehow i broke open a wall and let them in, the horde quickly overwhelmed the others, but I escaped up into the shelving. I was climbing along the scaffolding and up over walls trying to escape them, but it was no good... also there was poison gas... NO WRITING. ugh, i wrote like one sentence in the monster outline. I think i want to write a comedy now. this is no good. At least now i know what i need to do for the throwdown, maybe i can start thinking about that instead. detective stabler and olivia are SO ANGRY! all the time! i guess i would be too when everyone you meet is a rapist or child abuser or murderer. another new band (well, new to me) that i'm hooked on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XlNbQv_Rg4 |
