Somedays I write about all I give to life, other days I write about nothing in particular.

I am still all the things I was before, in "Invalid Item, only now I'd like to think I'm better at this journaling thing. I guess we'll see.

Here goes nothing....

If you want to read this journal/blog in its entirety, you'll have to be a member, as I have a lot of the meaty entries set to members and above.

My Dearest Blog,

I'm so sorry to have to break it to you this way, but there's someone else. You've been really wonderful--with your quick entry option, restriction access and those cute little writingML tags. You are a great blog, but I've fallen out of love with you. You see, my words don't come to me like they use to before and my time has gotten dreadfully short, so I've found myself neglecting you and while I was neglecting you, I found this other thing. It's new to me, so its exciting, like this spark has been ignited in me. Its also got functions that I'm afraid to say, you just don't have. I really am sorry, but I'm afraid we're going to have to take a break. Maybe someday the love will return, but until then, I'll be at:

We got home Saturday evening to some cold weather! But I suppose thats what happens when you go from 80's in Florida to 30's in Montana! Oh well. After a week of being gone, I was ready to come home even if it meant freezing.

Disney was great. It was fun to go again, knowing what we enjoyed last time and making time for new things. Both the girls had a great time riding rides and meeting characters. The shows & parades were wonderfully done, as always. Here are some fun memories from our week there:

Stroller Silliness aka "At least they aren't fighting"

Meeting Winnie the Pooh at Animal Kingdom

Just a bunch of monkeys

Lindsay loved going around really fast on the Tea Cups.

Kera liked it too, until the force of the spinning pushed her over and she got mad at Daddy for pushing her against the "table".
** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **

DisneyWorld can scare young children and irritate mothers. Kera didn't like the idea of getting up close and personal to Woody & Jesse from Toy Story no matter how much I scowled at her.

She's scared of a friendly cowboy but not of a giant cricket?!

Its amazing a child can be have moments of unhappiness at such a happy place..

Only $30 to have both daugthers' faces painted to look like Tinkerbell only to later smear on their and my clothes and be all messed up before the end of the day! What a steal!

I told her to "smile". See the tiger behind her? Yeah, its behind glass. *Smile*

Meeting the favorite character, Ariel.

I finally have a few minutes to spend here. Kera is happily watching PBS cartoons in my room and I "called in sick" to my life recovery class this morning, so I'm sitting here in my pj's relishing an unplanned free morning. Its wonderful, and it would be even better if I felt great enough to take advantage of it, but I don't. A persistent headache and achey body are kind of bumming me out and cutting down on any small bit of productivity I could have. My goals for the day are to walk on the treadmill, shower and get groceries. I know it looks like not much, but I only have until 3 to get it all done! *Rolleyes* Seriously, though, I dont feel good, so I know if I get those things done it will be good. I'm sure that other things will sneak their way in, like folding and putting away the basket of whites on top the dryer, or sorting out some pictures for scrapbooking, wiping down the bathroom sink or taking out the trash--things that naturally take place in the life of a stay at home mom. Of course I'm not listing the millions of times I'll pick up toys, turn on/off movies, comb hair, wipe butts or do dishes--those jobs are never ending around here. *Laugh*

I'm really tired today, so unfortunately, this is going to be it. Life is really busy and the stress levels rise and fall like the tide, so I have plenty I could write about, but I just don't feel like it today. I'd rather go cuddle up with my 3 year old while she's still small and watch Dragon Tales with her.

I'm outta here. *Smile*

I spent the morning at Life Recovery.

I spent the afternoon (as in noon til 3) at Lindsays school helping with her Halloween Party.

I'm cooking dinner now.

I'm spending the evening putting their costumes back on, taking some pictures, bundling them up, walking around the neighborhood and/or answering the door, getting them unbundled, putting their candy up without too much of a fight and getting to very tired but wired on candy little girls to bed at a decent hour because tomorrow is a school day.

So, Happy Halloween. *Laugh*

Maybe I'll do an entry tomorrow....

We, or should I say, I carved pumpkins today while the girls whined and watched. Here are the results:

Well, we hit the top of suburban life last night. After a wonderful dinner of deer tacos (thanks to the huge buck Erik got last weekend in Sidney) we decided to go to Wal Mart, for fun. *Rolleyes*

Now, we really did have some things we needed, so it wasn't totally a pointless trip. Erik had to get a few things for elk hunting today (he left before dawns crack) and I had to get a new battery for my (still NOT digital) camera for him to take to capture his success and some supplies for our "Booing", which is just another epitome of suburban life. Ever heard of it or partaken in it? Well, some ambitious family starts it by filling two buckets or gift bags with goodies, a picture of a ghost and instructions. They put these two goodie bags on a couple of their neighbors' front porch, ring the bell and run. The neighbor graced with the goodie bag has to then hang the ghost picture on their door or in their window to signify they have been "Bood" and then give out 2 more goodie bags to families that haven't been "Bood" yet. The goal? To make sure every house in the neighborhood gets the opportunity to eat more candy and spend more money on junk to give to other families, er, to participate!

So anyway, I had to go to wally world in order to get the necessities to make our boo bags. We'll probably hand them out tonight. I actually think its cool that our neighborhood is so kid-focused, its nice living where there are quite a few other stay-at-home moms and kids all around the same age. There are probably 15 to 20 kids that get on the bus in the morning with Lindsay--it really is a majority of families here. I'm not really complaining, I swear. *Wink*

I get to go to lunch for my birthday today. Its funny, my actual birthday was Tuesday (I'm a whole 31 if you really want to know) but we didn't really do anything. Well, Erik made me dinner and brought me home flowers & a card, but thats all. My mom wanted to take me to lunch on my bday but was too busy, so today it is. And then my friends wanted to do a big thing, but it didn't work out to do it until the 10th of next month! *Laugh* It'll be a big ol' home cooked chinese dinner, which is my absolute favorite, so it'll be worth the wait. So my birthday is being celebrated in small batches this year, its kind of funny. And Erik told me to pick out the digital camera I want and that he'll get it as a part birthday, part christmas gift so we can have it when we go to DisneyWorld in November! So, WOOHOO, I'm finally getting my digital camera! *Bigsmile* Now I just gotta figure out which one I want! *Laugh*

I've been thinking about my writing lately, or should I say lack of writing. I've heard from a ton of folks that I should take advantage of all the inspirations in my life right now (they go by the names of Lindsay & Kera) and write about it, but I've been wondering where I can find the time between caring for those two inspirations to write about them??? I had thought earlier this month that I'd like to start exercising my writing muscle again, and that using the exercises in one of the many poetry workshop books I have once a day would help. I have yet ot even pull out one of those books since that thought! *Laugh* And its really easy for me to get discouraged about that, sometimes I even wonder if I'll be able to write again once I sit down to try, but I know that things will settle down and I will have more time to write again. And not even looking years in the future, but like when I'm done with the Life Recovery class and even when we're done teaching Kids Kingdom, then I will have a little bit more time in the week. I think I'll need to make a date with myself to just write, even if its once a week. I need something.

Well, I better get moving today so I will be ready to go to lunch when its time.

I've been out of town, did ya notice? *Laugh*

Drove way over to Eastern Montana, (Sidney) for a memorial & some hunting. Its a long drive, but worth it to see family & hunt on my Grandma's land. Now I'm catching up with unpacking, laundry, emails, etc. So I'll have to come back later to tell the whole story and do Emmyloo's little "Tag" thing....

Did I mention that its my birthday today? *Bigsmile* Yep. I was born today a whole 31 years ago, if you can believe it....So in between all the chores I plan to eat some chocolate and just relax in honor of my day.

Its nice to eat a bratwurst fresh off the grill with warm saurkraut, spicy brown mustard and a cold beer. We had our Oktoberfest last night at our house. I think we had like 15 adults and various kids running around, but it was fun. I made saurbraten, potatoe latkes & coleslaw. Then there was red cabbage & apples, brats, saurkraut, baked beans, beer, german wine and a beautiful, delicious German Chocolate Cake that my friend J made from scratch and didn't add coconut to the frosting--it was perfect! *Smile* We ate so much food, but it was soo good. I seriously think I could handle the real Oktoberfest in Germany some day... *Smile*

Its a beautiful fall day here in Western Montana. The sun is shining and the leaves are all various shades of red, yellow & orange. I've been wanting to take pictures and post them, but, a las I do not have a decent digital camera, yet. I thought I'd get one for my birthday, but I went and spent money on new clothes a couple weeks ago and blew that budget. *Laugh* Anyone ever herad of CAbi? Its a direct sales/home party type of thing but the clothes are wonderful. I'm in love with what I bought, so I suppose it was a good splurge. But I still miss not having a decent digi camera...Speaking of which, those of you with them, what kind do you have and why do you love/hate it? I'm not real set on a brand of camera, just specifications, like zoom, megapixels, easy to use, decent viewing window, etc...

Oh my goodness, I don't usually gush about bath/body products, but I got some new goodies from The Body Shop the other day---Pomegranate body butter, shower gel & body scrub---and I am serious in that I think this is my new favorite scent. Its so fresh & slightly fruity, but not too much. Its unique, just like a pomegranate. *Smile* I inhale deeply everytime I use it!

Well, my lazy Sunday afternoon is almost to a close. Time to make L's lunch for tomorrow, warm up some dinner and just plain ol' get ready for the week. *sigh* I'm so glad I got a nap in this afternoon...
