Neko wishes everyone a wonderful summer!

I paint my face with blackend lines,
carving my soul into darkness.
I rip my flesh into tiny pieces,
as I scream - so wreckless.

I can't stop going on this path,
the path I chose long ago.
I can't keep from making them,
those same mistakes, over again.

But I can try to keep going,
to live, to love, to laugh.
To cry, to scream, to swear...
as long as I go on, even if I'm "half".

Half alive, half dead, trying to live,
will I ever be whole, who knows?

Started: 9th of May, 2007
Agenda: I will tell of past experiences, current experiences, and future experiences I wish to have. This will be a way for me to relieve some stress and to try and better my writing style.
Credits: Thanks for checking my blog out, and if you read it, I hope it isn't too boring~! *Pthb*

P.S. I'm going to try *spiffing up* my blog later on this month or next month, depending on how much time I have. *Bigsmile*

Okay... so I'm really nervous right now; maybe I'm just paranoid.

Here's what's happening:
*Bullet* Monday: My lips burned at lunch. Sam thought it might be blisters, but I didn't think it felt like it. The sensation went away quickly. Later the same day, after waking up from a nap, my lips started to tingle and felt numb. They also felt like they were swelling up.

*Bullet* Tuesday: Woke up to a burning, itchy mouth. The night before, I put on some medicine for blisters in hopes that it would keep them at bay. No blisters had shown up, but my lips and the outside of my mouth was itching like crazy. The itching progressed throughout the day and by night I was in agony.

*Bullet* Wednesday: Itching pretty much killed me in the morning, but the worst of it was my face. All the muscles in my face were aching. It was so bad I ended up having to take medicine for it. Luckily, that helped, but the itching persisted. By the time I got home, I couldn't stand it anymore. Looked for benidryl, but couldn't find any. Dad checked webMD to see if there was anything on there after he got me some benidryl from the store. The itching has stopped, but the sides of my mouth became hot and swelled up even more.

Dad finally found some indicators of what it might be. We think maybe the mango I ate on Saturday is the cause. However, I've eaten mango before and have never had such a reaction. I did chew on the skin more this time, which might have been the deciding factor. My other alternatives are fever blisters or some sort of virus (since I've also had a runny nose, ear infection, stomach problems, fever, chills... etc and was really sick a week or so ago).

If this doesn't let up by tomorrow, I'm planning to make a doctor's appointment. *Worry* I hate going to the doctor though.

Sooo I mentioned before that I was taking lots of exams, etc. I wanted to post what results I've gotten back so far.

Roman & Greek Mythology: 83% B
I was REALLY hoping for an A. I studied my butt off for this test... thought I knew it backwards and forwards. Apparently not. *Frown* I was rank 59 out of 374 people on this exam. I'll check what my sister got when I get back home (she's in the same class as me).

Biology 1001: 76% C
I'm actually happy with the C, though... I wish I'd picked up those 4 points to get a B. Hopefully I'll do better next time. Not sure what rank I was, since he hasn't posted it up yet. I'll edit this later.

American Literature: Quiz 1, 2, & 4 - 100% As; Quiz 3 - 85% B
I'm pretty darn excited about these results, since I didn't read as closely as I should of for Quizzes 2 & 4 (note: for quiz 4 I had to read a BOOK. The Deerslayer was long... tedious... generally a good story... but 500 pages in one night is HARD to get through. I managed it somehow... by skimming through at certain points). As for Quiz 3, I definitely didn't read it as closely as I should have, considering I only got halfway through. The teacher is insane; he thinks it's easy to get through 50 pages in about a night even though we have other classes.

And that's it for now. *Smile* Still waiting on the results for World Archaeology... which is the one I was really worried about.

Hugs to all! *Kiss*

are all I want right now. *Angry* I'm so tired. Stayed up a bit late last night studying and now I have to study again today! *Frown* Not sure if I even did okay on the World Archaeology exam... but hopefully I'll do better on Biology tomorrow. I've also got a quiz in American Literature tomorrow on a book I haven't even opened yet. (Deerslayer I think... or something).

My cousin has the Flu, and I'm worried I gave it to her. *Frown* I don't know if I actually had the flu before, but I was pretty sick. Anyhow... I've got to head out. Heading over to my grandparents from college to get a bit of shut eye & studying done.

*Kiss* *Throws some Hershey kisses to every person who reads this blog...*

LSU won again tonight. So far it's 3 wins and 0 losses! I'm so happy for them. *Bigsmile* But, I do worry about how well they'll do further down the football season... I think they're starting to pick it up again, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

The quarterback, Jefferson, is getting into the swing of things and I think he'll be GREAT once he has more experience. LaFell was awesome as usual, and Holiday scored a touchdown! Holiday is one of my favorite guys on the team; he's the fastest man in college football (literally). He's so tiny... but he can get through those guys and towards the end of the field extremely fast.

I can't wait to see more of this season, and hopefully the Tigers continue to do well. *Smile*

On another note, I went to the concert yesterday. It was great! Stain'd and Creed are both excellent bands. I had a lot of fun; though, there were a few drunks annoying the heck out of me during the concert. One guy actually fell on top of a lady in front of him. I think I would have slapped him. *Angry* That same guy jumped the barrier to the floor later, and wasn't caught.

Luckily, unlike most concerts I've been to... I didn't smell any drugs being lit up. I honestly can't stand that smell. *Frown* All the bands playing were also very respectful, which I love. I've been to a few concerts where the bands were disrespectful and screaming out profanities at their fans. (Or just being plain disgusting on stage...). It's always nice when the concert is clean. *Thumbsup*

Now I have to study for both a World Archaeology and a Biology test for this upcoming week... Wish me luck! *Kiss*

I know I haven't replied to some emails, etc, as of late... I'm SUPER busy. I'll try to get to them this weekend if I can, and if I can't... well... sorry. *Worry*

So tired. So. Very. Tired. I stayed up ALL night studying for my Mythology exam. I think it paid off, but I'm really regretting the no sleep thing at the moment. Bout to fall off my chair and melt into a puddle on the floor. (That or I might possibly throw my self down the steps to get an excuse out of class... or I could fall asleep while walking down them. *Thumbsup*).

Chewing gum is so not helping. I thought it would, but all it's doing is making me feel extra comfy, relaxed, and sleep deprived.

I won't even be able to sleep once the school day is over, since I'm going to a Creed and Stained (forgive any misspelling...) concert tonight. It's all the way in Lafayette, so it's a one hour drive there and another hour drive back.

Maybe I can get some shut eye while dad drives? *Rolleyes*

Hugs and love to all of you... *Kiss*

That's the month, day, and year I was born. *Thumbsup* I'm now a whole one year older than I was yesterday! Twenty to be exact... I'm getting up there. I honestly can't wait till my twenty-first birthday though, since I'll be legal then (for drinking, etc). Not that I'm going to go out, party, and get drunk... nah, I just want to have the right to say I can. *Laugh*

Hope everyone's doing well.

Update on the earlier blog post about the program dilemma...
*Bullet* Program never unfroze
*Bullet* Neko contemplated throwing it out the window in a fit of rage... but...
*Bullet* Neko finally decided to deal with it and start the hair from scratch *Thumbsup*

And then guess what happens? When I FINALLY get the hair the way I want it... BOOM. Photoshop FREEZES on me. And I didn't save the hair I think... the last thing I THINK I saved was the mouth/eyes/skin. *Frown* I'm just going to go die in a hole now. The hair was over 20 layers... and had taken me like.... 2-3hours.... AHHHHHHH..

*Please pause while screaming continues... *Worry**

*Takes a deep breath*

Okay. Well, been waiting at least 4 hours to see if photoshop will unfreeze... if it's not unfrozen by the time I get back from my birthday party... well... I'll cry, close the program, and try again. *Sigh*

Hugs to all *Cry*

Okay... finally making this item public. It's my entry for the August/September ABN contest. I'm a little nervous about making it public... so please be nice, guys.

Also, if anyone could point out any errors they see (or give suggestions), I would really appreciate it. *Smile* Thanks everyone.

So... I think I'm having a panic attack or something right now. Actually, I have no idea. All I know is I'm upset; I've been upset all day. But now I can't stop crying. Meh....

Anyhow, if I don't talk to anyone for the rest of the night, I'm sorry. (And this way you'll know why).

Love you all,
-Neko
