I believe the title says it all.

My life is a three ring circus. Between my garden, the remodeling we're doing in the house and the daily trivialities of life I'm going insane.

Saturday we had 50 people over for Gary's birthday. Had a blast, it's always fun. I love spending time with our friends and my family. Gary's parents came over for 10 minutes, gave Gary his presents sat for a few then left. They are beyond weird, so don't get me started on them.

We're heading out to Springfield for the swap meet this weekend. Can't wait! I have a whole list of stuff we need for my car, a gold dash inlay, a manual shift console, decal sets, etc.

And with that said, I have a ton of shit to do today before we head out so I better quit yammering on about what's been going on and get back to work. Hopefully this much needed break will give me plenty of time to write. We'll see. I need to get these two novels finished and edited. They are driving me crazy.

Never thought I'd write another one, but after spending a week with my brother and his kids and seeing the way my sister-in-law acts I've decided that it's time to fill people in on the fact that relationships aren't just handed to you. So take a few minutes and check it out. {ritem:1668551 }

In other news we're almost done with the dump truck. We've been working 8+ hours a day 7 days a week. We're tired and ready for it to be done. We have work lined up for it and the sooner we get it out of the garage the sooner we can start making our money. Gary's finally getting to do some work that he's always wanted to do. A high school buddy of his bought a 1969 Camaro and needs some work done on it. It's over heating and wandering all over the road. Gary's going to do some engine work and have the paint rubbed out. After seeing the work that Lenny's had done to the car already, it makes me appreciate in a new light my talented hubby. After the Camaro we're going to be painting a 1965 Mustang for another friend. Right now anything we can do to make money we are, and we're surviving.

I've got a list made of everything we need to finish my car. Surprisingly enough, it's only about 10 items. We need a new console for the manual transmission. Still looking for an engine and tranny for it. Once we get that we can start getting everything thing together. With the front nose clip off the car we're going to put the engine in first and then put everything in around it. Sooooooo much easier than trying to slip it in with out scratching or dinging the metal.

It's a gorgeous day out, bright and sunny. This week we should have my hardtop off the Jeep and my soft top back on. I miss it and I'm ready for that topless weather! Can't wait.

I'm going to clean up the house and head over to the shop for more dump truck work.

Okay well maybe not. Things are pretty calm right now. We're watching Fanboy and Chum Chum. I have no idea what this show is about but it's got a catchy theme song and the kids dance around through it. Alex has been going non stop since about 6am. Em and Kait have been pretty good. In face all the kids are good. It's the damn dog that I can't stand. Apparently when sis in law is here he'll grown and bare his teeth and intimidate her. I don't put up with it. He's done it two days in a row. Yesterday I whacked him on the nose and told him I wasn't taking his crap. Today one of the kids let him out and when I went to pull him back in with the choker collar he did the same thing. I told him I wasn't putting up with it and proceeded to drag him back to the house doing my best to strangle the damn mutt. He finally gave up and went in, then decided he wasn't letting me in. He bared his teeth barked and jumped up on the door pushing it open and smacking me in the head. I think I have a pretty high tollerance when it comes to animals and understanding why things happen. However this was a direct push to my asshole button and I ripped open the door and gave him a swift hard kick in the chest. I've never kicked a dog before but I tell you this one just had it coming. I'm not going to put up with shit like that from a mangy hound that thinks he's going to push me around. I got news for him. I don't let anyone do that, except maybe my hubby every once in a while. Gotta make him think he's gaining ground every once in a while. Okay well other than writing a blog entry that the ASPCA is going to just love, I gotta hand the computer over to the rugrats. We're playing outside today. Can't wait for it!

I've always aspired to start my day early, but my body has never had the ambition. This week I'm babysitting for my brother while his wife is off in Florida. I have no idea why she's there, or how she got the money to go, or even if she's in Florida and not just out getting peter from another Paul. Who knows. All I know is that my days are starting at 5 now. I get here at 530, my brother leaves at 545 to continue his education as a chef. I applaude him, I really do. He's always loved cooking and this will be his chance to really accel at something.

I walked in this morning to a 2 year old that was crying for his mother and really wasn't happy at all. The good news was that after a quick cuddle on the couch and some cartoons he settled down and was happy to see Aunt Molly. I made scrambled eggs for all 4 and then cleaned up the shit hole that was the kitchen. I've heard to people just living in filth but this was the most disgusting kitchen I've ever seen. So I cleaned everything and hope that my brother will have the decency to help me out by keeping it that way.

When I come back from taking Danny to school the dogs had gotten into the garbage and ate the left over eggs. They don't have a trash can. Who doesn't have a trash can! I'm just beside myself the way these kids and even the adults are living. It's gross. Okay well Kait wants on here so I better quit being "a computer hog". later kids

They're peaking up through the mulch, I can already see the blooms pushing their way through all those leaves. Don't they know it's going to snow again? And according to the Farmer's Almanac it's going to be a doosey. I hope it is, as much as I'm enjoying the warm weather and can't wait to get the hard top off my Jeep, the money is so easy I'm a bit torn. But hey, you get what you get and especially with mother nature you can't force anything more. I'm happy with the season, we've brought in enough money to do what we want this year and catch up our bills.

The remodeling business is doing well. If we could just get the help to start thinking we'd be good. I'm not going to get into it here because it's just not worth it. Brooke knows what I'm talking about, our guys can't think past their noses. Anyway, going to a funeral today. Gary's grandmother passed we think over the weekend. They found her on Tuesday. There is controversy in this family that would fill a novel. Maybe one day I'll write it all up but for now I'm just observing and tucking all the information away. When I have more time I'll write up a full blog entry of it but for now it's got my imagination going. I'm writing like crazy now but not that story, finishing up Nature and getting Chance and Georgia caught up.

I'm finally getting there. The snow has stopped for a while. All the repairs are done to my Jeep, it feels a ton better and doesn't wander all over the road.

I've billed out all the work we've done and there's a lot of money out there. I just hope it all comes in in a timely manner. It's really pathetic when you have all that money sitting out there and no money to catch up your bills. Frustrating in the least.

So I'm home today doing laundry and straightening up the house. I'm hosting a dinner party soon and have to have a clean house. My brother is being the chef and I can't wait to try all his creations. We've got a menu set and just have to pick a date. I'm heading to the gourmet shop today to get cheese and fruit for a appetizer plate. We're working on the rest of it. I'll post pictures of it all when we finally get everything done.

Well I'm back to laundry. Can't wait for spring but am loving all the money we're making.

Yeah, so we've gotten a ton of it. Things have been so crazy my sleep schedule is screwed up and I'm sicker than a dog but still working. Today I get to bill out all of the work we've done in the past week and a 1/2 and I hope to God the checks start rolling in. I'm still light headed and easily winded so I'm not going to write much, just enough to fill you all in. I plow, I sleep, I plow, I sleep, then bill, sleep, plow, sleep, clean, plow, sleep, eat, plow.

There, I've filled all of you in. Take care.

Well, wrestling season is over. Practice is not voluntary and Tyler has decided he still wants to go. We're really proud of him. He's improved so much over the season. We told him at the beginning, even at the beginning of football season that it didn't matter what he knew about the sport, you have to put your all into it and the coach will notice. He can't ignore you if you are giving 100%, even if you aren't the best kid on the team. And finally he's listened to us and has paid off. We've seen such a 180 in the kid it's blown our mind. As much as the sport has completely uprooted our lives we'll miss it. It's brought all of us closer and has bonded us with Tyler. He's actually greatful we are at every meet and that we cheer for him like the big 'ol rednecks we are. He definately knows we're proud.

Today I get to catch up on a whole month of cleaning. I need to get dressed and switch laundry then head to the PO so I can beg on my knees to the PO Box that there will be checks there. We really need a payday. Really bad. It's getting to the point where we won't have the cash to fill up our gas tanks. So here goes! I'm gonna go and check. Cross your fingers!

This weekend is our home tournament. There's a lot to do, cooking wise that is. Tyler is all set, he's pumped and wants to get to it and wrestle. I still have to make pasta salad for the hospitality room and potato casserole for the wrestlers. I'm also sick. I think Tyler brought in Whooping Cough so we've been fighting that along with all the stress of running the business and having our weekends completely monopolized. So I thought I'd sweep in and give you all a brief entry before heading back to cleaning the house and cooking my dishes. Tyler has practice at 12, so I figure I'll squeeze in a shower and actually fix my hair for the first time this week. I'm completely stopped up, a veritable fortress of snot. This is worse than the cough or the fevers. I hate not being able to breath through my nose.

Alright well Scooby Doo is almost over. (yep, my 13 year old still watches Scooby Doo - and I do too. Used to love it as a kid it's fun to still watch every once in a while) So i better get some meds in me and hit the kitchen and all the other rooms that are begging for my attention.

sorry about the abrupt end of my entry yesterday, I got caught up in a movie and was completely distracted and tired of my lap being smooshed by my computer. Gary's sick, fevers on and off during the night, then breaking and soaking through the sheets again. I had to get up with Tyler and thought I'd snoop around on line for a few minutes before I head back to the bedroom to take care of my big sick bear.
