You are sitting toward the back of your Mathematics class feeling bored.

Mr Kent is droning on about something. You aren't sure what it is. You stopped paying attention ages ago.

"Want to go shopping after school?" Janet whispers to you from the next seat.

"Sure." You answer. "If we don't die of boredom first."

"Miss Petersen." Mr Kent calls your name. "Are you paying attention?"

"Yes." You lie.

"Then what did I just explain about right triangles?" He quizzes you.

"Susan Petersen." Your voice is called over the PA system. "Please report to the principal's office."

"Gotta go." You tell Mr Kent. Can't keep the principal waiting.

He motions toward the door, indicating that you are free to go.
