This is a tribute to a friend of mine Who helped me out through some tough times. This friend always had a smile on her face Everytime she visited my place. This friend of mine would check out my stuff And tell me how to smooth out the rough. She'd come by me to grace me for a smile, Even though she only talked for a little while. I don't know what she looked like, Like if her hair was gray or white, Her skin dark or light, But she was as fierce as a pike. This friend of mine, Was sweeter than the finest wine, Not that I drink, But it describes her I think. This friend of mine, Who always had the time, And would give me a smile, Was Kmurphy, Better known as Kathy Smile
